What does a couple shoot with me look like?

A couple shoot with me doesn't mean standing stiffly in front of my camera for an hour, trying to look as good as possible. Quite the opposite.

What does a couple shoot with me look like?

A couple shoot with me doesn't mean standing stiffly in front of my camera for an hour, trying to look as good as possible.
Quite the opposite.

I want you to laugh together. To move. To maybe tease each other a little. To hug, fool around, or just forget everything around you for a moment.
Because that's exactly when the most beautiful, most authentic photos happen, for me.

When you're not thinking about where your hands should go.
When you're not constantly checking whether you look good.
But when you're simply together.

I know that standing in front of a camera can feel a bit unfamiliar for many couples at first.
“What do we do now?”
“How should we stand?”
“And what do I do with my hands?”

Don't worry. That's exactly what I'm there for. I give you little ideas and directions, get you moving, and help you forget the camera is even there.

But I don't want to put you into a role that isn't really you.
Because in the end, these photos shouldn't look like you pretended to be a different couple for an hour.
They should look like you – like the way you are with each other. Like your laugh, your glances. Like all the little things that maybe only the two of you understand.

Maybe you're laughing the whole time. Maybe you're quieter together. Maybe you can't stay serious for five minutes.
Or maybe it just takes one small moment, where you look at each other and suddenly forget I'm even still there.

That's exactly what I love about couple shoots.
That no shoot is ever the same.
Because no love is ever the same.

And that's exactly why I don't want to create photos that look like everyone else's.
I want to create photos you'll recognise yourselves in later.
Not just in how you looked, but in how it felt to be together.
How you laughed, how you looked at each other. How your closeness felt.

Just the two of you, celebrating your love, without needing a big occasion for it.
Simply because your time together is worth capturing.
